I think a visualized presentation can be better then only a easy text, if things are defined in images one can effortlessly be familiar with these.
Admiring the persistence you put into your website and detailed information you provide. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed material. Great read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
I think that for a visually unattractive person, like myself, would make a much better impression in a phone interview. If you are too old or too fat, it wouldn’t matter, becaise they can’t see you. Therefore, practing good telephone interview techniques is a must. Great article.
This is excellent, thank you. The visual is great. I have taught this in class and prepared written notes for my students. I’m hoping that people will learn to practice this very simple method. So important!
thanks again, Mary Kaye

Terri:
I have interviewed hundreds and hundreds of people over the years, of all types of physical appearance. I have hired probably close to 100 people now, again of all physical appearances. When you think you are unattractive you are unattractive. A person’s attractiveness to someone hiring is solely dependent on their attitude in the job interview.
Any manager worth his or her salt is not going to hire based on outward appearance. They are going to hire based on attitude.
Please – do what it takes to adjust your attitude in a positive way. You will be much more successful in your job searches in the future! Never sell yourself short.
Personally, I am considerably overweight, two prominent visible scars that can’t be hidden, and terrible acne pits from several sad teen years. It has never been an impediment because I refuse to allow it to be an impediment. I am currently a CFO for a $75 million company. I’ve been offered bigger places, but I’m doing the work that I love.
Attitude is everything!
